During the “Robotica 2014” festival the FIRST LEGO League competition was taken place. 5 teams from Kyiv and 1 team from Lugansk have presented their projects, based on the 2013 FLL season challenge “Nature’s Fury”. Also teams have competed on the special field with their robots (“Robot Games”) and shared with judges how they had worked in the team guided FLL Core Values.
Teams were judged in following nominations: “Best project”, “Best robot”, “Best teamwork” and also “Innovation of scientific development”, in which partner of the festival Google has prepared special prizes.
The winners of the FLL competition were:
- “FREEDOM” (Creative international children’s school, Kyiv) – “Best project”;
- “Prometheus” (Technical studio “Vynahidnyk”, Kyiv) – “Best robot”;
- “Team from the Future” (School №52 in-depth study ІТ, Kyiv) – “Best teamwork”;
- “RoboSkyNet” (Lyceum № 142, G. V. Kurdyumov Institute for Metal Physics of the N.A.S. of Ukraine, Kyiv) – “Innovation of scientific development”.
